Marketing Coordinator – Runner Up
As a Marketing Specialist at Runner Up Rooftop Bar, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote our trusty ol’ establishment. You will play a vital role in increasing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and ultimately contributing to the growth of our business while maintaining our overall vision and ethos. This position requires a creative and analytical mindset, with a strong understanding of various marketing channels, including social media, SEO, website content, and advertising.
This is a casual position. Smaller hours in winter with an increase of hours into summer as trade increases.
Content Ideation and Creation:
- Develop creative content ideas and concepts to promote Runner Up Rooftop Bar across various platforms.
- Create engaging and compelling content, including written, visual, and multimedia content, to attract and retain our target audience.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics, images, and videos that align with our brand.
Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Engagement Strategies:
- Manage and optimise Runner Up Rooftop Bar’s social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to drive follower growth, increase interactions, and encourage user-generated content.
- Monitor social media trends, stay up-to-date with platform algorithms, and adjust strategies accordingly.
SEO and Website Content:
- Conduct keyword research and optimise website content to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Regularly update and maintain website content, ensuring it reflects current promotions, events, and offerings.
- Analyse website analytics and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
Ad Placement and Analytics:
- Plan and execute online advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media ads and Google Ads.
- Monitor ad performance, analyse campaign data, and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement A/B testing to optimise ad performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Experience with content creation and demonstrated creativity in developing engaging content.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website content management systems.
- Familiarity with online advertising platforms and analytics tools, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
